We started to create a new vision about music. We thought that, after a whole time of writing and trying new things, we really got somewhere, and our passion might be interesting not only to us, but also to others. When we met, I, Gerben, was playing the drums and percussion, and Jasper was playing organ/keyboard. We sort of extended our range to singing, playing guitar, piano and all the things you will hear. We’re just fine with the two of us, that’s why we never thought about searching for other band members. Sapphire Tears is also created during that time. And Roelof Albers as well, coached, produced and managed us during the process of growing up and making a piece of art.
